How can you truly clean urine out of grout?

Ticia, grout is porous and will absorb urine (or anything else) if it wasn't sealed. I ALWAYS seal my grout!! That being said, try to get as much of the bleach out as possible and then use one of the enzymatic cleaners for pet urine. Apply it heavily, cover with a warm moist towel, and let it sit for several hours. This will get down into the pores and "eat" organic matter. The trouble is that bleach can kill the enzymes, so make sure you get out the bleach first.

For the smell, you can cover with white foamy shaving cream and let sit, then wipe away.

Lysol Lime & Rust Remover Toilet Bowl cleaner, comes in a black squirt bottle. Scrub with Scrub Daddy or Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I used this to clean toilet & tile.

You probably need to re seal your grout as Laura suggested. Just make sure you get it clean first.

If it's clean but you can't get the stain out, paint and then seal. I had to do this when my ex used the wrong color grout (off white for white tile) so I painted with exterior paint and then sealed. That was in 2005 and it still looks great.

Bleach is my go too product.

OxyClean powder made into a paste and scrubbed into the grout does a good job.
