Grout does not go around the tub and wall. It will always fall out. Bathroom caulk creates a waterproof seal around the tub.

So should I put waterproof seal around my tub?

Jen, is this grout (which goes around and between each tile) or is it caulk (which goes along the inside edge of the bathtub between the bottom tile and the edge of the tub)? It makes a difference in how to repair it.

I understand now it should be caulk but it’s grout I think because it’s always falling off the wall, how do I tell the difference? I’ll post a picture in just a few, maybe you or someone can tell me. Thank you

Remove the grout around the tub. Then use 100% silicone bathroom caulk around the tub.

William's answer is correct. Grout should never be applied between the bottom edge of the tile and tub. If it is grout you will need to remove all of it where it is along the edge of the tub, clean the tub edge where it meets the bottom of the tile with alcohol. When it is clean and dry run a bead of 100% silicone bathroom caulk around the perimeter of the tub where the bottom of the tile meets the tub. This will create a waterproof seal. Watch the video William provided so you know how to caulk the right way. Best wishes.
