How to clean a textured shower floor?

My shower floor has a pebble texture and I have tried many things to get it cleaned, bleach, comet, hydrogen peroxide, coca cola, vinegar, kaboom and CLR I have used scrub brushes and magic erasers as well nothing has worked, running out of options and I will be moving soon.

  • Mix Dawn dish soap and vinegar in a spray bottle - 50/50 and spray it on the shower floor. Let it work, but you may need to do some scrubbing with a brush.

Try mixing Oxyclean powder with some warm water to make a paste and plaster it over the shower floor. Leave on for 24 hours and wash off. Wear rubber gloves

    Hi Tony,

Have you combined baking soda with vinegar? That would be my first choice. Sprinkle baking soda on the wet floor or make a paste with water and baking soda and completely cover the floor. Let that sit for a while then spray it with a mixture of equal parts of white vinegar and water plus a few drops of Dawn. Again let that sit, spraying occasionally until it stops bubbling. At that point, you can scrub it with a scrub brush, then rinse and the floor should be clean. If that doesn't work, then there must be something chemical stuck on the floor, IMO. Think about what has been used in the past to see if you can figure it out then look up or come back and ask if you need help for that particular ingredient. For example, if a product that contains wax has been used, ammonia or a wax remover will need to be poured on then scrubbed to release the wax. Hopefully the baking soda & vinegar soaking method will work. I hope this helps you. Wishing you the best.
