Granddaughter dyed hair black and ruined my brand new vanity top! I've tried bleach and nail polish remover. Nothing is working! Is it a complete losd!
Use Clorex Outdoor bleach. It is much stronger than regular bleach, just make sure you have good ventilation.

Here is another helpful idea.
I recently had that mishap, and by the time I saw it, it was dried on. Nothing, including acetone was working, so after I calmed down and pulled out my Bon Ami powder cleanser (Bartender's friend would work, too). After wetting the surface, I sprinkled on the powder and started working it into a paste. Then I gently scrubbed, rinsed and scrubbed it again. It wasn't easy, but, I finally got it all off the white porcelain sink. Good luck!
Hi Sabrina, I am not sure if your tub is fiberglass or acrylic or porcelain, so I will include instruction for all the surfaces, hope they help you,

Hi Sabrina,
You could try using Barkeepers friend, or other cream cleaner. If the bath is Acrylic you could try car cleaner, but if the stain has been absorbed it could take a very long time to release it again................

Scrub with Barkeeper's Friend and magic eraser.
Wet & Forget Shower applied regularly, perhaps twice weekly.
It'd try soaking bleach or even a magic eraser will sometimes miraculously remove stains.
Have you tried a magic eraser? I haven't tried it but it might work.

I have tried acetone, turpentine, magic eraser, comet, bleach, dish soap and denture cleaner and nothing has removed the red stains from my acrylic tub. Any suggestions?
Easy off oven cleaner, the blue can might do the trick. Another thought is to consult the manufacturer of the tub , have the product information (hair dye) on hand, they might ask what you used and what chemicals are in it.
If nothing works, you may have to refinish the tub.
