How to get rust stains out of old bathtub?

There is a cleaning product called Iron Out that has worked very well for us. Should be available at most hardware stores.

I would not have believed it would work but I tried a can of "Barkeepers Friend". It comes in a canister like scouring powder, I wet the rust stain in my tub and sprinkled some on, went away for 5 minutes and when I came back and started to scour it, it was gone in seconds.

CLR comes to my mind. It has worked great for me on calcium and lime build up.
