The stain around the drain won’t come off w/scrubbing pads or pumice stone. It’s a tough stain. Seems to be embedded.
White cleaning vinegar will kill the mold spores. Saturate cotton balls/paper towels/rags in the vinegar and place around the area where you have mold. Remove after letting sit for an hour. Rinse. You might have to repeat the process if you have a serious problem.
To prevent, check out wet & forget shower unless you have a marble tub.
Bleach will clean the mold off. Regular vinegar will kill any mold spores. Do not mix bleach and vinegar together. The fumes are harmful.
Hi Norm, you can remove the caulking and redo it, make it look professional by running masking tape on each side , smooth the caulking and remove the tape before it sets, dry for 24 hours, or you could try the method in the attached video

Hi Norm - There are several ways to get rid of mold, but most importantly, you need to address the root cause to keep it from returning. This article focuses on the bathroom, but is an overall great article that covers methods of how to remove mold, if bleach is safe to use, and how to prevent it from coming back. Hope this helps! If it is a soft caulking you will probably need to remove it and put in new caulking. This is not a hard job and you can do it easily yourself. Use a box cutter to cut out the old caulk, the new goes on with the applicator on the tube.
