I have used a creamy based furniture polish or a creamy type leather cleaner. You will probably find these in places like Lowe's or Home Depot. Just apply according to directions, and buff with a soft cloth. Your counter top will shine like new! Keep in mind, however, that this process will need to be repeated from time to time.
