A great, simple DIY recipe I recently learned about to get your carpets clean and odor-free using basic ingredients you probably already have around the house!
The supplies you'll need are really basic!
Mix it all up in a jar or any other container you like. Bonus points if you have a container with holes for sprinkling!
Sprinkle it on the carpet you want to clean and deodorize.
Wait about a hour or so before vacuuming it all up!

Great article. I own a carpet cleaning Charlotte NC based company and we run into a lot of DIYer's in our area. For the small jobs that do not require a professional clean I always recommend a recipe much similar to this, but I also recommend them to use one shop vac for only this use. Great post. I enjoyed reading it.
