DIY Liquid Laundry Detergent - Borax Free

Recently, I shared my homemade laundry detergent recipe. Since then, several of you have asked if I had a recipe for liquid laundry soap, and some have expressed their distaste for using Borax. I tried a few different recipes, and today I want to share the one that I absolutely fell in love with. This DIY Liquid Laundry Soap will leave your clothes clean and smelling amazing!
You will need water, baking soda, salt, castile soap, essential oils (for scented soap) and a gallon container to mix and store it in (old milk jugs work great). Start by warming water on the stove and dissolving the baking soda and salt in it. Pour this mixture into your gallon jug.
Next, add your castile soap. I prefer Dr. Bronners.
To finish your laundry soap, add essential oils and fill the jug with water to the point where the jug starts to curve in.
Shake well, and use 1/4 cup per load of laundry! For exact measurements and many more homemade cleaning solutions, click the link below!
