I use absolutely no fabric softener. Vinegar in the fabric softener cup and felted wool dryer balls. Cuts drying time, reduces static and your laundry will be soft and fluffy with no chemical residue.
Bed, Bath & Beyond, Walmart, Target. And Amazon has an amazing selection. Just Google and see what stores show up in the area that you live in. I have found them in various stores in the South and East Coast, but so far never on the West Coast except at craft fairs. I bought my first set from a lady at a craft fair about a dozen years ago or so. You can also make your own. Here are a couple links. I swear by them. Really handy if you have people in your house that have allergies or asthma.
Be sure not to use vinegar in the liquid dryer cup in your dishwasher. I learned from experience that the vinegar eats up the hoses and eventually the dishwasher will leak. For my clothes washer, I use liquid softener that I get at the store....cheapest I can find and only use a small bit in the washer. Dryer sheets are good too but expensive.
Every time I clean my mirrors, they end up having tons of streaks and almost look worse than before I started. What could I use to clean them that won't leave streaks...

Hair conditioner
12 oz. Suave conditioner
1 1/2 C white vinegar
3 C very warm water
Put in a sealed container and use about 1/4 cup for each load.
