My dog would love to clean your rug for you! Seriously, scrape as much of the peanut butter off the rug as possible. Since peanut butter is oily, you will need a soapy mixture to get the rest off. I'd spray it with a mix of water and a little dish soap. Original Blue Dawn dish soap is used on animals and should work well. Make sure you rinse it well as soap collects dit in a rug.

Some dishwashing soap mixed with vinegar should do the trick. I would make sure to spot test it first though.
