Bleach kills mold. You could try the bleach for colored clothes. Not sure if it will do the same thing but worth a shot.

In a small bowl, mix blue dawn (the original) dish soap and water then scrub the mold off. Can't use bleach cause it might fade the color!

We would spray ours with Concrobium at the end of the season. You can use it to kill the mildew as well, then wash them.

It helps to have a type of clothesline set-up, it allows air to circulate around them.

SYou can add white vinegar to the dawn and water mixture, too to kill the mold.

Dawn dish soap and water and a scrub brush. NO bleach..maybe add some hydrogen peroxide to the soap mixture. Then dry in sun if possible..always hang in airy place to dry after use..I put a fan on mine...
