Have you tried rubbing with an ice cube to solidify the wax which can then be scraped off? Not tried this solution myself, but read the tip somewhere.

Apply ice cubes to harden enough to scrape off or use a brown paper bag and apply a warm iron .

try using a hairdryer to soften it and a paper towel to absorb it as it heats:)

You've likely scraped up the bulk of the loose stuff. You're goung to want to heat and wick up the remainder. Try a low temp iron and an old washcloth. Put the dry washcloth on the wax area and apply the heat.

Take caution if there is any nylon in carpet. Iron can melt the fibers. Go with the hair dryer method already noted.

Use a butter knife to scrape off all the hard chunks and remove them . Then grab your trusty iron and a roll of paper towels because you're going to need a few. No steam BTW! Just heat and when an area of the paper towel gets saturated with wax ,rotate to a clean or dry area. Repeat until all the wax is gone . Deep breathing and patience recommended.

if you can locate a brown paper bag it will soak up the melted wax when ironed really well.

Scrape off what you can, then put an old white washcloth or rag over the spill, and use a iron on top of that, The wax will transfer to the rag. It wi;; tale several times, so be sure to rotate the rag to a clean spot. I've done this and had good results.

I spilled a whole candle of melted wax on my carpet. I used a damp washcloth and "ironed" the wax with medium heat. the wax will stick to the washcloth

My hair dryer doesnt heat up enough to melt. You could try a steamer as well. The low temp iron worked to lift red candle out of cream carpet here.

Use brown paper bags and iron to pull it up out of the carpet
