Water like stains on clothes from washer and Dryer
Does anyone else have a problem with their washer and/or dryer living water spot looking stains on their clothes??? And if yes, how do you get them out of your clothe... See more
Dip a cloth or sponge in rubbing alcohol and dab first around the stain, then directly on it. You should see the ink transfer to the paper towel underneath the stain. Change the paper towel often so that the paper can absorb the color. After the stain is removed, wash the clothing as directed in the washing machine.
Hi ! Get Folex carpet cleaner, I know this sounds storage but it works ! I got it at home depot. It gets everything out of carpets ... ink , lipstick , red wine even dried paint. When I stained a favorite shirt and nothing I tried worked , I figured I had nothing to lose . ..I gave it a shot , it worked and know I keep some in a spray bottle in my laundry room 😊
Put OxyClean in your washing machine along with Borax laundry booster and your regular detergent. This works best in a front load washer.
Put the comforter in the drum and fill the washer with hot water. Set the washer to presoak for as long as the timer allows OR - fill the drum and turn the machine off. Allow to soak overnight and then finish the wash cycle with an extra rinse. If the mark is not gone, repeat this procedure. Twice through should get it out. DO NOT DRY the comforter until the stain is gone as this sets it in!!!
I find that 100% acetone works well on most fabrics (check for color-fastness), on walls, countertops and KLOT of other things.
So....If all else fails get a couple permanent markers In colors and incorporate that line into another flower stem and bloom or leaf. Or cut a piece off a part that does not show and glue it on the offending spot. Try to match the pattern as it you were wallpapering. You might need to put some white on it so it does not show through.
ALCOHOL cleans off ink and permanent marker.
Hand sanitizer will also work to remove ink. .... I believe this is due to the alcohol content
