How do I remove label adhesive from a suede jacket?

It was from a name tag.

    If it is one someone put in there, it would either be sewn in or an iron on. A warm iron may loosen the iron on, or at least soften the adhesive.

    Is it actually on the suede or the lining so it get on clothes? If you can find a dry cleaner that will even touch it they may be able to clean it. BF wore his to change a tire for me, so it was covered in mud plus who knows!

    Follow these steps to remove adhesive tape stains from Suede:

    1. Carefully pick off as much excess as possible with your fingertips.
    2. Gently rub an artgum eraser(large pencil eraser) over the remaining gummy substance.

    If that doesn't work, cautiously rub the spot with an emery board or very fine (grade 6/0-8/0) sandpaper.

    Oh, no. That's a tough one. Normally I'd say try WD-40, but that might just change the spot, from sticky to slick. It might be worth talking to a local dry cleaner for advice... plus here are a few tips you can try...
