There's no way around it La Keshia, you have to wash it. The best way is to put it in the washer with a few bath towels. That keeps it from bunching up in a ball that then won't come clean. Read more here:

Is it vinyl or cloth , a special material?

The only way I know how to clean a shower curtain is to take it down and wash it.

Maybe u could try a product like Scrubbin'. Bubbles (make sure to open a window or turn on your bathroom''s exhaust fan) maybe put some laundry detergent - diluted witha bit of water into a spray bottle and spray the curtain and scrub it by hand. U will still have to spray the diluted laundry detergent with water. I suggest diluted laundry detergent to make it easier to spray - u also don't want to tons of soap bubbles in your tub.

I would just buy a new shower curtain.

Good luck & maybe stillolutionomeone else has some better ideas.

you can spray it with a bleach cleaner, if it's plastic. If you're just trying to not take the showe curtain off the rods and the rod is spring loaded, just fill your tub with 3-4" of water w/bleach in it and lower the curtain into it. Rinse well after it's done and just rehang to dry.

Spray the whole curtain front and back with Lysol disinfectant or vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Let that sit (hang) for half an hour. You are not through! Now use a spray cleaner like Mr. Clean, or add a squirt of dish detergent to the vinegar and water spray bottle. Spray the curtain top to bottom, back and front. Hold the curtain taut with one hand and scrub the curtain in every area, every side, a section at a time. Make sure you have good ventilation while doing this. Then rinse the inside of the curtain with the shower spray. Take the curtain loose from the curtain rings on the left side, fold the left side into the shower and rinse it. Replace the left side. Do the right side the same way. Then rinse the inside again. Wash your curtain once a month, and spray it with Lysol or another disinfectant but not detergent after every shower, especially the bottom of the curtain, front and back.

    I'm assuming you don't have a washer/dryer or a tub. Best wishes 😇💖

Make a paste of either equal parts baking soda and water and scrub the mold from the shower curtain. Rinse and repeat if necessary. Flip the shower curtain and repeat. Hang the shower curtain from a clothesline to dry.

Hello La Keshia, hope this helps you. Try mixing a 50 50 mix of white vinegar and water, put them in a spray bottle and spray on the moldy parts. Rinse well.
