I have tried it but with a small amount which did not work well. Nervous to use a stronger dose for fear of ruining the fabric. It is a rusty orange in color.
I used Bar Keepers Friend, made a past and used a toothbrush to apply and scrub, then rinsed off with my garden hose. Here's a pic, I used it on the white stripes on the left. You can compare with the stripes to the right where I had not yet applied it. Worked GREAT, Good luck!
