How do you whiten white polyester sheets?

I have a white sheet set that has yellowed over time. Have washed in Hot water, used Biz, and peroxide. Does anyone have another suggestion? I heard that bleach on polyester turns the fabric yellow, so haven’t tried that.

Try soaking in baking soda and water overnight.
Hello, I use white brite on all my whites and I love the way it works but I don't know if I have anything polyester. I am going to find some and try it to see how it works. I will let you know.
Hello again, I did not have any polyester to try the white brite so I called the company and they said it will not harm polyester or turn it yellow. If you would like to call them the number is 888-476-6688.
Do not use the bleach. Using hot water also can set stains. Try this trick as I just used this yesterday on a set of very expensive cotton sheets that had yellowed due to the SPF in a body cream and they came out beautifully white again. I put this in the washing machine: 1 small scoop (the size you would use for iced tea or coffee) of Oxi-Clean, some Persil, and one cup of baking soda. I put the baking soda and the Oxi-Clean in the drum and then added the clothes. I started up the machine with warm water and let spin for a minute or two to get the suds started, stopped the machine and let it sit for a couple of hours. I did this a couple more times. I then started the machine and let it go through its cycle but did a second cold rinse to make sure all suds had gone. I also added a bit of vinegar to the cup on the machine where you usually use softener. Good Luck, hope this works for you.
Bleach does yellow fabric. Try Borax.
