I run mine thru the washing machine.
It would depend on the type of pillow but I normally clean mine the same as I clean the mattress. Mix 8 ounces hydrogen peroxide with 3 Tbsp baking soda and a drop of liquid dish soap. Slowly mix by swirling. Spray and then wipe with a damp microfiber cloth.

I toss them in the wash and dryer...but I don't have feathers. Although, most feather and down pillows can be washed as well. https://www.peacockalley.com/pages/pillow-care-guide
Generally I use a washing machine. The rinse and spin removes the water that they take on, making drying easier. Or you could consult the manufacturer, there maybe washing instructions on the tag.
Are your pillows filled with a single piece of foam, or packed with fibrefill?
Depending on the quality and age of the pillow, sometimes the stuffing will either disintegrate or clump up, if the pillows are washed in an automatic washing machine.
If the pillow covers are removable, unzip to remove, then close the zipper again and put in a mesh laundry bag before tossing into the machine. Wash with hot water.
If the covers are still stained, or discoloured a yellowy shade (due to perspiration) after going through a full wash cycle, it may be time to completely replace them with brand new.
washing them in your washing machine and then dry on low
Hi Jeanne, Most pillows can be washed in hot water on the gentle cycle with a small amount of detergent. We recommend spot-cleaning any stains with a pre-treatment beforehand. Then throw the pillow in the machine. After the first cycle, run an extra rinse cycle to remove any remaining soap. Hope this video helps you out,
