Rubbing alcohol, you may have to apply it a number of times but it works. Put an old towel under the spot. Pour the alcohol on it & dab or press on it with a different rag or towel. You have to keep moving the towels or the marker stain will absorb back onto the material. -

Hairspray? I think I have heard of this removing perm. marker. Couldn't hurt. Good luck Carol -

I have used Aqua Net hairspray and it works great
