CLR might.
Pour vinegar over the rust spot and sprinkle some salt. Rub the cloth together. Launder as usual. Saturate the cloth with lemon juice and let it sit for a while. Launder as usual. If the stains are set in soak the towels in two cups of vinegar to one gallon water for about an hour. Launder as usual.
Try a solution of CLR or Vinegar. Place either solution on the rust spot and let it sit. The rust should disappear. CLR is stronger and will work quicker. Vinegar will definitely lessen that stain, but you may have to treat it more than once. Then wash and dry.
