You can use duct tape. Wrap it around your hand with the sticky side out and use it to press on shirt and pick up the lint. Might work with thick masking tape or packing tape as well. They also sell sticky rollers that remove lint:
I also agree with lint roller or tape. You can try folding or hanging your shirts inside out, but if you have a furbaby, you will always deal with this.

I agree with Melissa ^ and also recommend washing black and other dark colors inside out to help avoid having lint transfer to the fabric.
A lint roller is the only thing I can think of.
