A product called Anti Icky Poo works great for cat urine. I've found it on Amazon. It would be worth a try.

Nature's Miracle Duel action, Orange oxy power. This is for cats, an the smell of cat urine, is something hard to get rid of. So I'm sure dog urine, which is less odor, this will work. It's in a plastic orange 32 oz spray bottle. Follow the directions on the bottle. Good Luck!

  • First I use vinegar and water in my steam cleaner and next, I microwave water to make it really hot and add Purex laundry scent crystals. Once they are melted, I put them in the water tank of my steam cleaner and go over my carpet again.

My Pet Peed! I had two elderly cats who decided that our back porch and our bedroom carpets were giant litter boxes. They did this for over 2 years. The urine thoroughly soaked the carpet, the padding AND the floor boards. I feared I would have to replace them all.

Then came My Pet Peed! I sprayed it on the boards as instructed (used a spritz of water to bring out the odor before I began) to be able to locate the worst areas, although I liberally sprayed the rooms thoroughly. I had to do this 3 times before the rooms smelled normal again. It saved me BUNDLES of money. I now have new carpet and pet padding to protect the floor boards - but I've not had any inkling of the past smell.

This stuff is AMAZING! I have used it on the playpens I put them in to try to contain them as they grew less and less able to get around safely and to prevent any other rooms becoming litter boxes when I wasn't around to watch them. They smell like new.

    Good luck!
