How do I remove sharpie from wood floor?

I have new maple wood floor installed and noticed that there is a sharpie mark on the wood. I already tried to remove it with some alcohol and the "toothpaste" method. Where the line is very thin the alcohol helped just a little bit. Is there any other method I can try that doesn't harm the wood?

Graffiti Remover. It comes in a spray can or a spray bottle. I am not sure what it may do to your floor so you may want to check it out. It works very well. The janitor uses it at school. It reeks to high heaven though. Instant headache!

We got Sharpie out of a kitchen cabinet door with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and a hard scrubbing. I will say this, in the case of this product the name brand is much better.
