There are great hard wood cleaners. Sone are fabulous and some...well, not so much. I'm happy with Murphy's Oil soap. You can give it a try, It's very clean looking, but is not glossy looking.....and it is inexpensive. You might have test a few spots with anything you try. Whatever you do, do NOT use Holland House clean and shine, you will ruin your floors. All it does is put a plastic like coating on the floor that is almost impossible to get off.
