What is the best way to get traffic staining out of a wool carpet?

I have tried scrubbing bubbles foam, which an auto detailer told me is used most, Dawn sudscans a carpet brush, resolve powder, vinegar and water and just plain soap and water. Nothing takes it out. Would love to hear suggestions.

My auto detailer uses Dollar Tree Awesome Degreaser, met him there the other day with 10 bottles in his hands. LOL.

I use the stuff for lots of things, but haven't tried it on carpet.

I swear by the Dollar Tree Spray Carpet Foam and the liquid Carpet Cleaner in a spray bottle for my client's carpet disasters. I use a soft carpet brush with it. I've gotten spots out even the pro's didn't with this stuff. Its in red can and bottle.

I also use a professional carpet cleaner in the gallon from True Value, red bottle.

Wow! Sounds as if you've tried most every method mentioned in this article but maybe read through it for a couple new ideas. Hope it is helpful. Seems they recommend calling in a professional carpet cleaner, if all else fails. Let us know if you find what works! Here's the link:https://spotremoval.coit.com/how-to-remove-tar-from-carpet

Have you tried a product for dry cleaning? Wool is wool, right,so we have clothes made of wool and it needs to be dry cleaned so maybe that's a new angle. So your entire carpeted floor is a wool carpet, wow that's expensive and I don't blame you for wanting to keep it,if push comes to shove I would have a professional come in and having it down. If it's an area rug send it out and have it done that's what I did. Wool has natural properties that repel stains if dealt with right away, sounds like you may have inherited this problem, maybe a new home for you or you didn't notice it until it got to this point.

I had good luck on pet stained carpet using baking soda & hydrogen peroxide. It cleaned the stain so well I had to do the entire room. I sprinkled (I used an old parmesan cheese container as a shaker) a good coverage of baking soda in about a 2 ft square area at a time. I diluted hydrogen peroxide 50/50 with water and filled a spray bottle. I sprayed the solution on the baking soda and worked it into the carpet fibers with a damp sponge (wear gloves). Let dry (may take a couple days) and vacuum.
