If you want to know how to clean a mattress, then use this guide to learn the easiest way to clean your mattress and all about mattress cleaners, mattress stain remover, and even how to clean urine from mattresses.

When I start to think about how many hours of the day are spent on our mattress and then the last time I cleaned it, it's a little scary. Normally, I'm pretty good about keeping up with housework and keeping the house clean, but I tend to forget about cleaning things that are not so obvious, like the mattress.

Since it's hidden under mattress pads, sheets, and comforters I don't always notice if it needs to be cleaned.

We have pets and kids, so our mattress has suffered some abuse over the years.

I wanted to find out the best ways to not only clean a mattress, but also remove any stains and odors as well.

There's a really easy way to quickly clean your mattress.

For deep cleaning and removal of stains and odors, be sure to read the blog post.

First, get your vacuum cleaner and some baking soda.

Then, generously spread the baking all over the mattress, applying more to areas that need the most cleaning. Leave the baking soda on the mattress for several hours.

For an extra scent boost, mix some essential oils with your baking soda before spreading it over your mattress.

Next, vacuum the mattress using the upholstery attachment on your vacuum cleaner.

Now, you have a nice, fresh smelling, clean mattress.
