Did the bumpers on your cabinet doors ever melted? I found a simple trick to this problem!

I had a problem with my cabinet doors. They were sticking to the frame and it was driving me crazy. It seemed the had "melted" and had become a kind of nasty gummy thing. Yuck!!

Just imagine the sticky noise when opening the cabinets, It disgusts me just thinking about it!!

I tried all kinds of products to remove it. It did not work well. I finally found the most effective solution.

First, you need to remove the excess residues with a scraper (I just don't know how I got through this project because just looking at this picture makes me sick! icon Can this be cured?? icon

Now, the easiest way I found to get rid of the goo... is Goo Gone. No wonder it's the name! Spray Goo Gone and let it stay for a few minutes (take that time to scrape the rest of the cabinet doors!!)

Then, scrub with a paper towel. And there you go! All Goo-gone!

Do you feel better too?

Finally, make sure to clean with soap to remove the oil residue before adding the new bumpers.

And that's it! That easy!
