Cleaning wooden dining room furniture

by Shirley
I have a 30+ year old dining set that seems to have a lot of dirt buildup (especially around the tops of the chairs where people pulled them out to use). Any suggestions as to what would be the best way/what to use to clean the grime without hurting the finish on the set?

  • @Shirley ...I use a product called Howards , they make a whole line of great products. I have been a Professional personal Housekeeper , and dealt with expensive finishes, the one I have used for years to clean wood is called Howard " Clean-a -Finish" , its for wood and can also be used on Upholstery . I also use another product by them, called " Feed -N- Wax' , it is great stuff. I hope this helps .
