How do i get rid of paint odor on new cabinet?

we jus bought a new buffet cabinet but the paint or poly smell is so strong it permeates everthing we put in it. i tried wiping it with vinegar, ammonia, baking soda, nothing works. help

Hi. Try charcoal briquettes. Break them up, ( I had to set them in a small cardboard box and use a hammer) place in bowls and set inside with the door closed. You can also sprinkle baking soda over the charcoal. Or try placing dryer sheets inside, shut doors and let set for several days. (Set the dryer sheets on plates or plastic wrap so they don't have direct contact with the wood). Good luck.
