Gently remove as much as you can. Then Goo Gone is great for removing it. Some people use heat (hair dryer) or cold (ice pack), but, heat makes me worried about lifting the finish.

I have used the hair dryer to get it just soft enough to come off withoit damaging finish. Don’t pick or scrape with your bare fingernails, wrap a dust rag over your finger first. Less likely to gouge the wood but still able to have that scraping effect.

You can try using a iron and an old towel or rag, set iron to med. Try and gently scrape off as much wax as you can without scratching your table. Then, place towel over the wax, continually run the iron over the towel, check progress, use another clean area of the towel and repeat with iron. Being careful not to touch the iron to the table, or the table with the waxy towel. The towel should pick up a lot of the wax and oils. Take your time, be careful. Depending on the oils of the candle, it may damage the finish on the table so it may need a little refinishing. Good luck!

Hi Kathy. Take a old towel and put it over the wax. Then use a iron and iron over the towel. The heat from the iron melts and the wax and the towel absorbs it.

You could try ice and something like a credit card to scrape it after its frozen.

You can try laying a rag on the wax, and then running an iron over the rag. It should soften the wax, and adhere to the rag. Keep checking it.
