DIY Grease Cleaner Spray
Mild soap and towel dry, apply Old English or some other Lemon oil to all sides of the wood and they will look great for years. If they are painted, there's a different approach.

I use Murphy's Oil Soap made for wood. You can get it in a spray bottle or in a bottle that needs to be diluted. It leaves a soft shine and gets rid of all kitchen crud on the cabinets.

Murphy's is good but a vinegar and lemon wash prior to using Murphy's will get off tough grime.
TSP/Trisodium Phosphate/Sugar Soap will be the most effective way to clean those cabinets. It's so good that places like Home Depot and Lowe's recommend it to prepare cabinets for painting.
It's also not particularly toxic for use in the kitchen and is actually a food additive in North America and Europe.
You'll want to use gloves as the solution can be very drying to the skin.
If they are wood use Murphy's Oil Soap. TSP can be used on anything else.
