As long as they have a finish, you can use vinegar and water - 50/50 - to remove that gunk. Just be sure they have a finish over the stain. If they don't, I'd try Murphy's Oil Soap. It's been around for years and many people use it on their wood cabinets. I've also used Liquid Gold after everything is clean. Wishing you the best.
I always use Murphy's Oil Soap.
Hi Jacksìplak, Bicard of Soda. It is not a harsh abrasive, plus, you only need a small amount. Mix a little into a past on a sucer, apply with a cloth, gently rub grime around handles till it comes off. Rince area @ wipe dry. Tooth past is allso @ non harsh abrasive to. Use a little on a cloth gently rub grime around handels till grime comes off. Rince area, tben wipe dry. When attacking grease @ grime you need a cleaner that's designed to dissolve greas or grime. Usually dishwashing liquid will do the trick with @ bit of elbow grease! Hope this helps! Kay Adelaide Australia

Murphy's Oil Soap?
I would try clorox, or windex, or mineral oil with vinegar. This will truly help, and do this monthly., or bi weekly, ok? Best wishes, J.
I use Murphys oil soap it cuts through the grime and is wood safe.
