My first attempt would be Awesome spray cleaner from the Dollar store. It cleans and degreases just about anything and removes things other cleaners won't touch. Try it on a small area like the feet where it won't show. Something tacky or sticky is holding the fuzz to the wood. Awesome is my go to for most everything....and only costs $1.00.
Try cleaning it with Murphy's Oil Soap. Use a rag or soft brush to remove the fluffy bits.
Try wrapping duct tape around your hand with the sticky side out. Then just pat your hand on the piece. The fluff should stick to the tape. You may go through a lot of tape. Another option is to buy a lint roller and use it to remove the fluff. Any residue you can use a damp sponge and gently wet it down and wipe it off with a cloth.
You can drag the strip of Velcro across the fabric after wrapping it around your hand similar to how that sticky duct tape mitten works. You just need to use the rough side with the hooks as opposed to the fuzzy side that it hooks into.
If you have heavy-duty rubber gloves for cleaning around the house you can use one of those for cleaning up lint. You probably noticed that the palm and fingers of those kinds of gloves are textured. That allows them to grip when you’re cleaning dishes, but it also means it can stick to lint.
Go to the dollar store and buy lint removal rollers, it should remove the fuzzies. If it is still sticky, you could try a damp rag moistened with vinegar and water (50/50), be careful to not wet the wood, it could damage it.Rub gently with the grain of the wood.
here is an idea that may help

I've had success removing fuzz and lint from various items by dampening a sponge and then rubbing it over the item. I think this might work well for your fuzzy problem.
You could also try blowing the surface with a hair dryer on 'air only' (no heat) setting.
This may not remove all the bits, as some of them may be really stuck into the finish of the cabinet, but as it is a non-evasive method, it is worth a try, as it may remove some of the fluff bits that are already dry, and just need a 'push' to come off.
I would use a lint roller and then a furniture polish with an old t-shirt to get the rest polished off.
does a lint brush work? Or a microfiber lint remover like this? https://amzn.to/3nPXTAH
Get Murphy’s oil soap follow directions on back to make a bucket and wash the piece down that will get it off
Do you have a pic?
Know that Murphy’s oil soap will leave a filling residue behind. Is the piece waxed? You might consider removing the wax finish.
Maybe a sticky lint remover would work?
