Maybe you could take the dresser outside on a warm sunny day and open the dresser drawers to let them air out. You might even try sprinkling some baking soda inside the drawers and let it set for a couple of hours to see if the baking soda will help with the odor.
Fill the drawers with charcoal and newspaper. Leave for a few days, to neutralize and absorb the musty smell.
