wash the entire piece of furniture with white vinegar, allow to dry, place open boxes of baking soda, coffee grounds, cedars chips to absorb any more odors
Leave some coffee grounds in the drawers, it will absorb and eliminate the odor
yes
Haven't tried myself, but I read the the most inexpensive vodka wiped on the wood surfaces will do the trick effortlessly. If you try it let us know
Try generic cat litter, pour inside, cover, then allow it to absorb that Odor, I used it on a very old chest, it works! Just give it a week or so to work its magic.
Here's an Easy Peasy fix. Fill 2 shallow saucers or bowls with white vinegar and close the drawers. Leave overnight. Check the next morning We had a party and most of the people were in our kitchen. The nicotine was so bad that whole area of the house reeked. I set a bowl of the white vinegar in the 4 corners of the room and in a day or two the odor was completely gone. No vinegar smell either. Good luck.
I have an old steamer trunk with a horrid odor. I used cedar balls which I was able to purchase at Walmart in the area where they have laundry baskets and clothes racks. Also adding a charcoal briquette to absorb the odor. This combination did the trick.
