Remove sticky residue from fake leather

I put cut tape on my new faux leather chair. Any tips for removing residue without ruining the chair?

Try rubbing a little oil,or mayo onto the residue wiping with a soft cloth.

I agree with Goo Gone. Also WD40 would work.

I agree with Janet Pizaro and the oil. It may take more effort than the Goo Gone, but if you use the solvent based Goo Gone it may remove color from the chair. Peanut Butter works great on sticky residues, it takes some effort and I suspect it's the natural occurring oil in the PB that works, good luck!

Goo Gone is ok, but harmful if inhaled, try and even mix of oil and baking soda, works everytime for me, good luck
