I inherited a vintage Cushman solid wood hutch and table. What is best to remove grim and smoke with out harming the finish.
make a mixture of white vinegar and water 50/50 and a dab of blue dawn dish soap
I use hot water with a splash of Murphy's Oil Soap and a splash of Dawn dish detergent. Wipe on with a sponge and dry with a soft rag. Good luck!
Dish water cleans most marks off of cabinets. If that doesn’t work try Murphy’s Oil Soap and for really stubborn stains, add a little baking soda to your cleaning rag (or sponge) for a non scratching abrasive.
😊
I like Bona - it is a natural product made for wood cabinets and floors.
Dove dish liquid in hot soapy water should do the trick. You could also try baking soda and a little household ammonia in warm water and then wipe dry.
I use Scott's Liquid Gold spray. It cleans off fingerprints and spills, and leaves a nice shine. Be sure to wipe a second & third time with a dry microfiber towel to remove residue. I also use this on my wood wall accents. Great product!

I have a post that might help https://chascrazycreations.com/cleaning-kitchen-cabinets/
To clean wood cabinets with Murphy's oil soap, you can follow these steps:
When dealing with grease cabinets, vinegar is the recommended natural cleanser. Combine vinegar and warm water in a 50/50 ratio, then transfer the mixture into a spray bottle. Spray cabinets, give them a minute or two to sit, and then use a gentle cloth to wipe them clean.
I use TSP substitute powder (found at your local home improvement store) in a spray bottle mixed with water and a rag. Cleans grease right off with zero effort.
Hi Hilary, hope this helps you.
Mix a 50/50 solution of vinegar and warm water and pour it into a spray bottle. Mist on cabinets, let sit for a minute or two and then wipe clean with a soft cloth. Add a few drops of liquid dishwashing detergent to the vinegar and water solution to clean extremely grimy cabinets.
