What's the best way to clean old painted furniture?
Hi Carolyn, good question. Painted furniture can mar easily and white can be yellowed with chemicals. Use a mild soap recommended for furniture and wipe dry immediately. Good luck.
Carolyn...I use Dawn and warm water and a rag. It works really well for me unless it is so old it may be yellowed. If so, clean and repaint. Good luck!
I swear by Murphy's Oil Soap all over my house and I have a lot of antiques. I also would try Mr Clean sponge on a small out of the way spot. They are non abrasive and do wonders!
