What is the easiest way to clean a brass table?

    White toothpaste and a brush . Wipe off with a clean damp cloth .

    I've used tomato paste successfully. Rub it on and leave it for an hour or so. Then wipe it off and polish with a clean cloth.

    I've tried ketchup with no luck whatsoever so I resorted to an old "faithful" product called "Brasso". It's a bit smelly but does a great job; it's been around for ages for a reason!
