Get the stains out of your upholstery with this simple homemade upholstery cleaner. It only takes minutes to make and cleans great!
Making your own upholstery cleaner is easy with these simple tips. It gets out dirt, grass, and food stains in minutes.

My chair before cleaning it was covered in food stains.
I cleaned it in minutes with this homemade upholstery cleaner.
To start you will need Dawn dish soap, hydrogen peroxide, and a spray bottle. Mix up the dish soap and hydrogen peroxide in the spray bottle. If you are working with a darker color upholstery spray a small amount in an inconspicuous spot and let it sit for 12-24 hours to make sure it doesn’t discolor the fabric.
Next, lightly spray the upholstery that you need to clean. Let the upholstery cleaner sit on the fabric for 2-3 minutes. After the cleaner has soaked in for a few minutes take a microfiber cloth or old rag and gently scrub. The stains should just disappear. You can see in the picture below the stains are gone in minutes!
Let the upholstery dry for about 24 hours before you use it. You can see the complete directions in the blog article below.
