Spring is here! And so is Spring cleaning time. I want to show you my favorite Spring (and every season) cleaning tools.
These two micro fiber dusters are fantastic! They actually make cleaning fun! Honest!

They both have what I call "fingers" that clean so many things. The fingers get into grooves and corners. They pick up and retain dust and dirt.
This smaller duster is from Dollar Tree. Yup - a dollar. It dusts everything from table tops and mantels to the tops of washers and dryers to the interior of your car. The fingers grip and grab dust and dirt particles. Shake it outside or detach and throw it in the washer. (Don't use bleach.) I then let mine air dry.

The floor mop has the "fingers", too. It's wide head makes dust mopping go so fast! Following are some of the ways I've put it to use in the two years I've had mine.

Use #1 is, of course, the floors. Mine are hardwood and tile so it gets used in every room in the house. I have three removable heads - one for the kitchen, one for the bathrooms and one for the other rooms. I marked them with a marker as 1, 2 or 3 to keep them separate.

Want to know a secret? If you have metal mesh outdoor furniture, like that in the first photo, run your mop head back and forth on the chair seat and it will remove a lot of the dust and dirt. It's then ready to clean some more! I did this before I had more than one mop head. I've also cleaned it with the vac in order to get all the cleaning done without having to wait for it to be cleaned in the washer.
In Spring and sometimes early Winter I dust down all the walls and ceilings. Sounds like drudgery, doesn't it? Not. It's great for reaching all the high places with ease, like the wall over our headboard.

You can use the reverse side (the white side that's showing) by dampening it and going over floors. That is for the surfaces that need a little more attention.
Then there's always the wall over the doors.
Don't forget the furniture and down low places, like our TV stand. Easy as pie with the long handle!
Do you have blinds or shutters? It's a cinch. These I try to do a few times each year.

Spruce up artwork every month or two.
Ceiling fans? I do the pillow case method, too, but wouldn't need to if I did the blades consistently.
More artwork. The intricate detail gets cleaned with the magic fingers. I do also go over this every couple months with the vac.
Do you have six panel doors? The dust gets caked on the horizontal sections. Clean them up fast.

I have this ledge running along the stair case. It was difficult to reach and clean before I found this mop. Now it's cleaned in seconds.
And again, back to the floor (and baseboards)! They wash out so fast and clean, ready to tackle the dirt again.

So this is how I Spring clean! The brand of this mop is O'Cedar Dual Action duster. You can purchase additional mop heads separately.

What other surfaces can you think of to clean with these items?
