During the cold winter months, I love nothing more than baking homemade cookies. Unfortunately, baked goods often lead to very messy baking sheets and a lot of frustration. Luckily, I know a few quick tips and short cuts to help with cleaning baking sheets so that no cookie baking will be sacrificed in the future.
Water

For baking or cake pans, fill with water after use, then place back into the hot oven. Keep in the oven until the oven has cooled. Remove and wash with soap and water.
Dryer Sheets

Place your baking pan in the sink and place a dryer sheet on top. Fill the pan with warm water. Let soak overnight, then rub clean with a sponge. Rinse clean with cold water.
Baking Soda & Hydrogen Peroxide

Whether trying to remove buildup from one section of your baking sheet, or the entire sheet, sprinkle first with baking soda. Then, sprinkle with hydrogen peroxide and another layer of baking soda. Let sit for a few hours before scrubbing away. Rinse clean with cold water.
