5 Ways To Boost Home Cleaning With White Vinegar

I am really interested in finding novel and eco-friendly ways tokeep my home fresh and clean. I feel I am not the only one. Lately Ihave been talking to friends of mine. I feel others are sick andtired of endless TV/Internet and God knows what other type ofcommercials, too. These ads constantly tell us how effective and safeis the next product delivered by a big multi-national company likeUnilever or Johnson & Johnson. But we jut don't buy it anymore –we know that many detergents and cleaning solutions are hazardous -harming our body, killing animals and ruining our fragile ecosystem.
Home staples like white vinegar, baking soda and even salt aregreat when it comes to cleaning stains or refreshing home carpets, rugs, mattresses, etc. What's more these products are way cheaperthan branded cleaners.
I have combed Google for cleaning recipes with white vinegar andbelow you can find 5 great ways to boost your home cleaning effortswith it:

1. If you're a romantic type of person then you like to use candles for creating an atmosphere in your home. But you might have also experienced that dreadful feeling when seeing wax on your carpet or floor. White vinegar might prove to be very useful in such an occasion. First, soften the wax using your hair-dryer blotting as much as possible from the surface. Then mix equal parts tap water and white vinegar to remove the rest and clean the area.
2. Next great thing about vinegar is that you can use it to remove stale, unpleasant odours like smoke smell. For example, your clothes just stink of cigarette smoke. Don't worry – fill in your bath tub with hot water and add a cup of vinegar. Hang your clothes above the steam for a few hours and you'll get rid of the unpleasant odor.
3. You can take care for silverware with a mixture of ½ a cup of white vinegar and 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Soak the pieces well and then wipe with dry cloth. I am sure you will be able to spot the difference at once.
4. White vinegar and hydrogen peroxide make an effective pair when it comes to countertops cleaning. Start with spraying the surface with hydrogen peroxide and then add a layer of white vinegar. Wipe with a clean cloth.
5. Use vinegar to remove tough carpet stains – coffee, mustard, etc. Simply soak a clean cloth in vinegar and rub the spot gently. The rinse with water. You'll notice you won't have to use commercial cleaners anymore to keep your home carpet fresh and clean.
Hope you will use any of these recipes to help make your home look brighter and cleaner. Emily

It works on fabric. Add a cup to the washing machine when you do a load. See and smell the difference! Great for towels. Also disinfects wood cutting board
