Dawn Dish Soap has so many great uses besides just washing your pots and pans. Because it’s a powerful de-greaser it works great for cleaning glass and mirrors. Check out how to make your own mirror cleaner with dish soap and water.

Before the mirror is dirty, dusty and has lots of streaks and fingerprints. We will get all of those off in no time so your reflection can shine! You don’t need any fancy cleaning supplies to get the job done. Head to your kitchen sink for supplies!

Supplies:

  • Dawn soap
  • Funnel
  • Measuring spoons
  • Microfiber cloth
  • Spray bottle

Add one cup of water to the spray bottle using a funnel if necessary to avoid spilling.

Add one table spoon or Dawn dish soap. If you don’t have any Dawn most dish soap brands will do.

Apply the top of the spray bottle and gently shake it to dissolve the soap. Don’t shake too hard or you will get bubbles. Add the water first because if you put the soap in and then fill the bottle with water you will just get a million bubbles and the soap will get too diluted.

Spray on the mirror and wipe off with a microfiber cloth. Repeat as many times as necessary. Now you can check out your reflection and give yourself a nice pat on the back for a job well done.
