I want to clean my tree and I was thinking of spraying it with vinegar and wiping it with cloth. Has anyone done this?

I would try a mild soap and water,as the vinegar may discolor the tree.

If you are talking about dust, try taking the tree out on the porch and hooking up the blower hose to your vacuum cleaner. You may be able to blow the dust off rather than vacuum it

If the branches are completely separate (not permanently attached to the center pole), you can use a large trash bag and a container of table salt. Pour the salt into the bag. Hold the branch by the end that attaches to the center pole, and tie or hold the bag tightly on the branch end, and shake vigorously. The salt will knock the dust from the greenery. I've cleaned greenery this way, and silk flowers.

Think I would try the vacuum first or even set it up in basement and blow it with the vacuum..
