I like the product "Tarnex", just dip and rinse and wipe. Make sure you wear rubber gloves! You can also take it to a local jeweler and have them polish it but there will be a fee!

I have always used Wright's Silver Cream. It's a milder cleanser, and leaves the contrast on the pattern. I think dipping products are terrible, and ruin the patina of the silver. Also, under NO circumstances use toothpaste! http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Do-It-Yourself/Polishing_silver If you have a lot of really tarnished silver, there is another way that takes off every speck of tarnish, but be sure not to include anything with stainless steel.
