I have tried just about everything to clean my shower floor is rough looking but the walls look like tiles - the unit was brought at Home Depot and it is almost impossible to scrub clean - any ideas on how to clean it?

I like a product called "The Works" found at Dollar General stores among other places.

By rough bottom, I am assuming you mean a slip proof surface. These can be hard to clean, but important, because they lose their "grip" if they get too grungy. There is a product called ROG1 which is made specifically for this type of surface. It can be a little pricey, but worth it. Also, look into any boat cleaners. They are made of the same material as the newer showers.

Oven cleaner and a magic eraser sponge work amazingly well

Plug the drain with a plastic lid. Sprinkle baking soda on the shower floor and spray with vinegar. The combination of the two will foam and clean the floor.

What works best for me is a 50/50 mix of Blue Dawn dish detergent and vinegar. It's fantastic! Let it sit for a couple of minutes, then use a soft brush if it's really dirty, then rinse away. I got that hint from Pinterest, and I'm so glad I did!

I have the same type of tub and I have used CLR, and also, the 50/50 mix of blue dawn and vinegar and that works amazing.
