Corroded battery terminal cleaning

Hi, I have a great cordless screwdriver, but the contact terminal has some greenish stuff on it which I am assuming is corrosion, I was wondering how to clean battery corrosion if possible? I've hardly used this tool, and would like to keep it. Is there a way to save it? Thanks!

Make a mixture of baking soda ,white vinegar and water into a paste, Apply wearing gloves with a q-tip.Leave on until you see the acid braking up and wipe off.

Try scrubbing with an old toothbrush.

Yes the baking soda works really well. Use it all the time and clean up the terminals carefully.

The green is just some corrosion and nothing to worry about. If it is a power tool just use a toothbrush or rag to wipe off the green. You may want to take out the battery when not in use. Do not get the terminals wet on power tools.
