Since the good old ice trick did not work try the opposite and use heat a heat method(blow dryer) for the wall. As for your floor and dresser use a warm not hot iron with paper towels thie heat should lift the wax to the towling.

Place a towel or paper towel on top of the spilled wax and then use an iron to iron over it. It should pull it up.

Thanks to all you ladies. I tried the iron & hair dryer. Both were successful in helping me get the job done. Now I'm worried about painting over the wall. I don't see any wax residue but know it is there. Any suggestions on painting????

@Mary Braid I am glad this worked for you but as for the paint there cannot be any residue at all.So maybe keep applying the blow dryer until you feel comfortable all residue is gone, It may take a few times.
